UV Shade Fabric

Our cost-effective, commercial-grade UV Shade fabric (showerproof) is an ideal solution for any application where shade is paramount, providing leading protection against UV rays. With its knitted mesh construction, air is allowed to circulate reducing heat beneath thus providing a more comfortable outdoor environment. With 20 colours to choose from it will brighten up any outdoor area.

• UV and Shade Protection. Blocks up to 99% of UV rays (dependant upon colour see colour options) Provides up to 97% shade protection, UV stabilised to inhibit fabric UV degradation.
• Quality Assured. Approved by the Australian Canvas and Synthetic Products Association AS 4174-1994 and highly recommended by Engineers and Architects alike.
• Fire Retardant. Fire rated to Australian Standards AS1530.3
• Strong and Durable. Very strong yet lightweight, 200gsm high-density polyethylene knitted fabric construction. Contains Ultra-Violet stabilising additives and anti-fade colour concentrates. Resistant to mildew and mould and will not rot like canvas or similar fabrics. Wind rated up to 200km/hr (which is the equivalent of Gale Force 12).
• You're covered! Our UV Shade fabric itself carries a 10-year UV degradation warranty with a conservative life expectancy of over 18 years. On top of this our Shade Sail structure installations are also covered by a 5-year workmanship guarantee.
• Vast colour palette! Available in a range of 20 colours.
• Minimal Maintenance. We recommend periodic cleaning every three to four months. Using sugar soap with a soft bristled brush, work the soap into the shade sail fabric and leave for a few minutes, before rinsing from the shade sail using a hose.
