Shade Sails

Providing a bright and cheerful addition to your grounds, our commercial Shade Sail structures are an ideal way to help encourage outdoor activity and promote children's creative development.

Designed to withstand the full force of the UK weather 365 days a year, our Shade Sail structures require minimal periodic maintenance, with a wide range of applications such as an extension to a classroom, a protective cover for play areas or welcoming entrance feature.

• We offer a comprehensive free of charge design service, from initial consultation and site survey to determine customer requirements through to the supply of 3D design drawings (using computer software) to communicate the final design. Our design team will develop a bespoke Shade Sail solution using our standard components and shade prediction software to ensure optimum protection is provided. If your budget affords something a little different we can also design and supply a custom shade sail solution to include lighting and stainless steel support posts for the ultimate architectural statement.
• Our Shade Sails are available in a wide variety of colours in either UV Shade Fabric: a shower-proof shade solution, blocking up to 99% of UV rays or Waterproof Fabric: for complete protection against the weather whilst blocking UV rays.
• Shade Sails in some instances, (subject to a civil engineers assessment) can be attached to existing buildings/infrastructure but are predominately free-standing structures with foundation cast support posts. Manufactured from heavy section mild steel, our standard hot dip galvanised support posts have a conservative 25-year life expectancy and are available in a wide variety of colours as illustrated.
• When installing new structures at schools or nurseries we always recommend installing our safety padding, available in a range of colours to provide that extra bit of security against the inevitable bumps!
