Our versatile Shade Sails and Retractable Umbrellas are used in many different environments by many different sectors; such as schools, nurseries, childrens centres, colleges, hospitals, leisure centres and parks to mention a few!
Below is a sample of a few of the projects we have completed.
Installation:The Head Teacher at Ambleside Primary School, Mrs Hannon, arranged for the children to work on an Academy Project about the need for shade in their playground. The children researched the most cost-effective quotation for a shade structure for two seperate areas. Once they picked the best quote, they then got to work researching the fabric, the posts and how it is installed. They also measured the area and worked hard on the design. Once the research was completed they presented their work to the board of Governors. This project is the first of its kind and we hope to do many more! Click here to see the final install! Installation: The team at Radcliffe on Trent and Ruddington Day Nurseries actively encourage outdoor activity to enhance their children's learning and play experiences. Our Shade Sail designs offered a perfect solution to provide the much needed shelter in both locations. The nurseries wanted multi-coloured posts, padding and shade fabric to really boost and brighten the appearance of their outdoor space.

Installation: Waterproof Shade Sails: Originally, Wallace Fields Infant School had our UV Shade Sails installed into their playground in early 2009, which they enjoyed so much that they requested further Waterproof Shade Sails for their newly developed play area! For the new project, we worked closely with the appointed architects and on-site contractors and came up with a solution which best protected the required area, providing a space to act as an outdoor classroom for the children. We were delighted to work with Wallace Fields for a second time and are really pleased with the end result, both sets of shades look fantastic!

Installation: UV Shade Sail The team at Busy Bees in Nottingham were looking for a shade to cover their small outdoor play area, as during the summer months there was little natural shade. After our initial consultation, it was apparent in order to meet the customer’s budget and enable us to provide maximum shade, we would need to fix to the building. After a further visit by our civil engineer our design team provided a 2 sail solution connecting to the internal steel frame of the building, which meant only two support posts were required. Busy Bees were delighted with the quoted design and picked Royal Blue and Red UV Shade Sails to match their branding and were over the moon with the final solutions.
Customer feedback: The shades have made a great difference to our outdoor area. We are able to do lots more activities in the summer months. A good job well done!

Installation: Retractable Umbrella Thorley Pre-School required a cost effective, waterproof shade solution which would not impair upon the community centre that they share their building with. Quite quickly during the consultation it was obvious our Retractable Umbrella would be the most suitable product for them. Allowing rotation to cover multiple areas and occupying minimal space when retracted the waterproof umbrellas fitted the brief perfectly. A quick turnaround was crucial as the umbrellas needed to be installed ready for the children returning from their summer break, of course we were happy to oblige!
